Coaches,
It has been my goal since I began playing tournament golf to continue to play as a college athlete. I haven't been competing for very long at all, but I believe that I am not even close to reaching my full potential. As a teammate, I will both encourage and challenge my teammates to be the very best they can be on any given day. It is not my intent to try and make the team my own. I want to be able to push the people around me and make them better as I improve as well. What makes me different from other recruits is that I may not be the best on a team, but I will outwork anyone I'm up against. Nobody practices, studies, and trains to be the very best golfer they can be more than I do. I am the most driven person I know and plan on continuing this throughout my entire golf career. I also have great character and sportsmanship. Countless times I have had coaches come up to me praising my character because of something I did or said on the course. I have won character awards for both golf and soccer and pride myself on being honest at all times. I am a great athlete as well. I played baseball, soccer, and basketball before golf and am still very active in the gym trying to make myself stronger and more athletic. My grades in school are good as well with a 3.966 GPA and a 4.4 weighted GPA through my junior year. Education is very important to me and school always comes first.
I believe I am a very well rounded athlete and student and could be a great addition to a collegiate golf program.
