As a three sport athlete in a 400 person school, I've learned the importance of hard work and perseverance. We built two sports programs from scratch to respectability, while the third continues to be a consistent powerhouse. But it was overcoming a learning disability in Middle School that showed me my true potential, both on and off the course.
Golf has always been a part of my life, having a club in my hand at age two and telling everyone that Tiger Woods was my dad! Falling in love with the game as a ten year old because my mom made the conscious decision to take us north for the summers so I could play everyday. It not only taught me golf and all the life skills that come from our great game, but also taught me to create goals and attain them.
Attending college in my family is not up for discussion, you are going and you will focus on your studies to become a productive member of society. Fortunately, my golf skills have paralleled my academics and given me the opportunity to attend a great school and play golf at the same time.
I have an outgoing personality and will immediately fit into the golf program I select and know both my personal and golf skills will better the program I join.
