Hi, I’m Justin Steinman from DeWitt, Michigan — a Class of 2026 golf recruit with a lifelong passion for the game. I’ve been playing since I was three years old and competing seriously for the past four years. As a freshman, I earned a spot on my varsity team and competed in the state championship. Since then, I’ve continued to elevate my game through consistent tournament play and focused training.
This past year has been my strongest yet. Highlights include:
- 1st Place – Callaway/Meijer (Hawk Hollow): 73–68
- 2nd Place – GAM Championship Qualifier (Washtenaw GC): 68
- 3rd Place – Callaway/Meijer (Eagle Eye/Timber Ridge): 72–80
- T-3rd – Callaway/Meijer (Forest Akers West): 75–71
- T-10th – GAM Championship (Radrick Farms GC): 73–68–74
- 9th – All City Tournament (Forest Akers): 73–74–75
In total, I’ve earned multiple wins and several top-10 finishes this summer, with multiple rounds in the 60s against strong fields.
Academically, I maintain a 3.57 GPA and approach my coursework with the same focus and discipline I bring to golf.
I’m seeking a college program that emphasizes team culture, strong coaching, personal development, and a championship mindset — both on and off the course. My goal is to keep improving, compete at a high level, and contribute to a program that pushes its players to reach their full potential.
