2021 Spotlight Personal Statement
Hello my name is Collin Urbas,
I am a Junior at De La Salle Colligate High School in Warren, Michigan. I currently hold a GPA of 3.89 while taking all Honors and AP classes. I was on track to make the Varsity Golf Team as a freshman until our season was cancelled due to Covid. I did make the Varsity Golf Team as a Sophomore and helped our team to second place in the Catholic League Central Division. We also won our County Tournament and qualified for State Finals by winning our Regional Tournament as well. We finished 5th in the Division 1 State Finals. This year as a Junior I will serve as Captain. My goal is to continue playing golf in college. While golf can be an individual sport and effort, I also believe in the team concept. I look forward to hearing from any coaches and programs that think I may be a good fit.
