I first started playing golf when I was 2 years old and that is when I fell in love with the game! I continued playing golf from that point on and I started to realize that golf is more than a sport to me. Going to State for the first time in eighth grade was a big start to my high-school career. I grew the most my freshman year when our team placed 3rd and I got 13th individually.
The first year our team qualified for the state tournament but we did not place. That year, I learned the real value of determination. Through playing the game of golf I have truly learned that patience, and dedication are characteristics that will help me succeed in my future goals. I am looking for a program that will be a great fit for me athletically as well as academically. I believe that I not only have the ability to compete, but the character, work-ethic, leadership and determination skills I have can make an immediate impact on your team. As a three-sport athlete and a 2-time state participant, I know that I have what it takes to compete at college level.
