My collegiate goals are to improve as a golfer, help support my teammates and contribute to our success as a team. I believe I make a good candidate, because I’m there to support my team, and I am very determined to get better at the sport I love to play. I never talk bad about a teammate after their performance, that’s not who I am and it’s not what a teammate does. Win as a team and lose as a team has become something I believe in strongly. I might not be the best golfer on the team but I’m always looking at ways I can improve. I really care about performing my best every match for my team. If I’m not playing I should be supporting my teammates twice as much. My academics in high school do not translate at all to what I’m capable of. I didn’t take my first year of high school very seriously, but in my last 3 years, I’ve realized how much every grade counted. I could say that COVID played a role in my academic performance but I’m not one who likes to make excuses especially when I know that I could’ve done better. I’m the guy who tends to work the hardest when it matters most, both on the golf course and off the golf course.
