Personal Statement

My name is Thomas Gutzmer and I am a junior at Jordan High School in Jordan, Minnesota. I am a three sport athlete playing football, basketball and golf. I started golfing as a young child at 3 or 4 years old.

My aspirations are to continue my academic and athletic career at the college level. I think of myself as a strong leader and someone that communicates well with others. I believe this is why I was chosen to be a captain my sophomore year of golf and also my junior year of football. I have a strong work ethic and desire to succeed. I also take pride in being an extremely coachable player who is always looking for ways to improve. I am taking college prep classes to prepare myself for the next academic level.
