One thing that sets me apart from all of the rest is my determination and commitment towards my team, the coaches, and the game. I will always be there for my teammates with everything in their life, not just for tennis-related situations. When I am apart of a team or a group I consider them my family and I am always there for my family. I also have a strong mindset when times get tough. Instead of turning away from challenges and loss I turn towards it and keep trying until I end up getting it. I have played mostly in the position of doubles for about 4 years of my 6-year tennis career. And if it is one thing I have learned through those 4 years it is that your success is very dependant on your partner's attitude toward the game. Without a strong mental state or a good attitude when you step onto the court your chances of winning go down significantly every time. I remember that my partner and I were playing a team this past year and we were down 1-4 in the set score, but then we pulled ourselves together after our break and we beat them 7-5 set score. That was one of the hardest, but most rewarding games I have ever played. I just can't tell you how much I really love the sport of tennis! Not just because it is a fun game and gives you exercise. but also because it brings people together. I would love nothing more than to be apart of a family that loves to play tennis together again!
