Carson Besonen '25 Recruiting Profile

I am very passionate about the game of golf, and would love the opportunity to compete at the collegiate level.  I have been fortunate to have had success at numerous tournaments dating back grade school, which along with my practice habits, have allowed me to develop mental toughness to go along with my physical skills.  I believe I am only scratching the surface of what my abilities can become, as I have grown 5 inches since the Spring of 2023 and most likely am not done with my physical development.  I also have taken on a leadership role on my golf team, encouraging and assisting my teammates to be the best players they can. In addition to playing golf, I play on my high school basketball team, and also participate in a thorough strength training program.  Academically, I rank near the top of my class, and I am taking college prep and college credit classes currently.  I look forward to the opportunity to further develop my golf skills, and to use those along with my mental and leadership abilities to make a positive contribution to a college golf program.
