Ethan Van Hauwaert '20 Recruiting Profile

I have loved animals since I was a little kid. I want to go to college to become a veterinarian, and study biology for my undergraduate program. My parents introduced me to golf when I was little. I became passionate about golf in Junior High and was moved to the Junior Varsity team in 8th grade. I have been on the varsity team since the 9th grade. I have attended the Scott Dirck Golf Academy for swing instruction since the 9th grade. In my junior year, we won our division in the Big South Conference using my score of 84, and were 2nd in the Section 3A championship. I finished in the top 20 of the Big South Conference Championship. My best round as a Junior was a 77 and I had several 9 hole rounds at 38. I have been able to maintain a good grade point average while participating in multiple sports during the year including marching band and football in the same season. I work hard on my academics and in golf to reach my full potential. I am looking for a college with a strong science program.
