Luke Reyes '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Luke Reyes and I have been golfing for almost 10 years. I have always been a small person but I never let that get in the way of sports. I am very competitive and I do not back down easily. I played multiple sports when I was younger but did not start truly taking golf seriously until 7th grade. I have played on the varsity golf team since 8th grade. Freshman year we won the district championship and I made the all district team for being in the top 10 in the district. I have played in the Kelly Gibson Junior Golf Tour and in 2021 won 2nd place in the BC cup championship. I practice almost every day but I have never let it get in the way of my academics. I have taken multiple honors classes and have taken multiple dual credit college courses as well as an AP class. I come from a family of engineers and my best subjects are math and science. I have always been interested in engineering so I am going to go to college and major in mechanical or computer engineering.
