I aspire to continue my academic learning and athletic career of golf at the college level. I have been playing sports since the age of 4. Through the years, soccer and hockey was my main concentration, playing club level for both and then High School Soccer, making JV as a freshman and Varsity sophomore and junior years. Upon entering high school, I decided to not continue hockey and found my love of Golf. During COVID, I enjoyed watching one of the US Opens and thought I would really like the sport. Ever since I picked up a club, I want to play every day. After starting to play, just the summer before my freshman year, I trained my best to try out in the Spring. I made one of the top spots on the JV team as a freshman. With continued training and individual coaching, I made JV/Varsity swing my sophomore year. I train almost daily and compete in the Gateway Jr PGA league (17U, 9-hole division) to enhance my skills. I have placed in all 3 of the tournaments I competed in, my best being 1st place at +1. For my junior year, I am working hard to make the Varsity team and continue the Jr PGA league, moving into the 18-hole division. I do not shy away from hard work and training. Golf is my passion and am working hard to continue playing at the next level of college golf.
