My goals, as of right now, are to continue to practice and play competitive golf and play collegiate golf to offset costs of college, and ultimately find a career associated with golf, whether it be playing golf professionally, course management, or some other associated career. I am a good candidate for college teams because I have extensive tournament experience and the desire to continue to learn both technique and further develop the mental side required to be a good golfer and am willing to practice constantly to achieve those goals. I have played a lot of other sports and have had a lot of success in baseball, basketball, and track, but my favorite and the one I have decided to pursue is golf. I am a good teammate, I am willing to work hard to achieve my goals, and to learn more and to become better at golf. Even though I have had a lot of success on a lot of winning teams, I also understand how to lose and be a good sport and to evaluate what happened during the game or match and what I could improve on and try to learn from the loss and apply that experience to the next event. I understand that my academic scores are as important as my golf game and am willing to work hard in the classroom to make good grades in addition to my work on the golf course.
