I'm a learning student who is avid in exploring new ideas and I believe that an education is important to being successful. Success in school shows thru my grades, and they continue to be a priority; I carry a 3.7 GPA. As a student, I'm making sure I accomplish all that I can, being sure that I'm a successful freshman in college. My future plan is being a business owner, so a Business degree is a must.
I am a member of the varsity basketball team, where I lettered on varsity as a freshman and sophomore years, and was proudly Academic All-State both years with a GPA of 3.7.
I really enjoy teaching the game of golf, often you can find me at the range showing someone a golf tip. Being from Montana, I enjoy camping, fishing, boating and love playing horseshoes.
I reside in Montana with goals playing college golf and beyond, also desire golf to be a very large part of my life. I started golfing at age 10, for the last 6 years I've put in lots of hard work and continue to improve, but I have a long way to go. Right now, as a golfer, I'm a 2 handicap and my goal is 1 max in 2 years. My main focus is concentrating on changes that will benefit me in the future. I'm really honing in on the different skills that I lack consistency in, but my strength is the short game, I practice endless hours on the short game. As I will continue to stay sharp in the short game, I'm focused on stability with my irons and driver. This reliability will take my game to next level. Jack Nicklaus said the game of golf is 80% mental; I'm really concentrating on the mastery of golf and being a process learner, not concerned with "results only" attitude, but getting better everyday. Having this mental mindset for growth is key and will bring me more focus mentally and achieving my anticipated results.
Endless hardwork with great positive attitude is a must. I love being at the course getting better. I would be great asset on any team and feel my relentless Montana attitude will persevere at any college venue. College golf is a goal of mine and have began looking at programs that I believe would be a good fit. I believe strongly in golfing at a solid program and it would be great to get an opportunity at a prominent golf school like yours.
