Kasen Moore '22 Recruiting Profile

I grew up playing a variety of sports including Soccer, Basketball, Baseball, and Football. Through it all I chose Golf.  Through all the bad shots, bad bounces, and bad breaks, hitting a pure iron shot and holing a birdie putt always brings a smile back to my face. I love the pressure and commitment that goes into every tournament, hole and swing. When having a bad day is when I learn the most. It teaches me to look at the positives and calm down and be patient. It all started in 7th grade when my dad recommended that I should try golf. I said why not and I got a coach. That first day of practice is when I fell in love with the sport. I wanted to dedicate all my time and effort into this sport. Golf isn't everything that I dedicate my time to. I always am trying my best in school and always getting all A's and occasionally a high B. In a college I don't only look for the athletics but I look for the academics as well. The best part of golf is you never reach the point where your too "good" there is always room for improvement and I understand this and I hope I achieve the chance to play at the next level.
