I grew up playing a variety of different sports such as lacrosse, soccer, football, basketball, skiing, karate, and tennis. At the end of the day I just want to golf. I love the pressure and commitment that it takes to compete in tournaments and my goal is to compete at the college level. My family has a history of involvement in golf. I have an uncle who won the Utah State High School Championship and went on to play professional golf. My great-uncle was an All-American, Hall of Famer, at the University of Houston, then became a touring, teaching and club professional for many years. They have served as an inspiration for me. When I was 14 my grandparents put me in a golf tournament and I shot 112. Since then I have dedicated myself to continue to improve and reach my full potential. My scores have dropped almost forty strokes but I am not yet satisfied with my level of performance and will continue to work hard to improve, both physically and mentally.
