My goal in my college golf career is to surround myself with the strongest possible players. This will allow me build strong connections and learn from my teammates. As the low scorer for my High School team, I enjoy forming strong bonds with the other members of my team so that I can help them play better while enjoying playing alongside them. Having been a part of a PGA Jr. League team that went to nationals twice, I have a thorough understanding of the importance of team golf. I have improved my attitude when it comes to dealing with poor shots and scores, and have worked extremely hard to get my handicap from around a 5 at the start of the summer in 2017 down to a +0.4 at the beginning of fall in 2019. I look forward to further improvement. I am interested in studying business and/or economics in college, and golf is something which can be very helpful with business related careers. It will also be something that I will enjoy with my family and friends and I hope to compete in many amateur events throughout my life.
