I am a very hardworking young man and golfer. I am passionate about the game of golf and have been playing golf since I was 3 years old. I am self taught. The area in which I live is rural and opportunities for professional coaching are limited. I am receiving some professional coaching this summer and will be working on some technical areas of the game, with hopes of improving my game. I will be a freshman this fall and I am currently on the varsity golf team for Raton High School. My goal is to play at the collegiate level, should I make it to that level, I will practice, train, and focus my hardest for the college team I am representing. I am 6 ft. and 3 inches tall, weigh 185 lbs. My current handicap is +0.2, and I am averaging a score of 75 for 18 holes of golf. In the 2013 fall golf season, I qualified for the New Mexico 3A state golf championship.
In college I plan to study aerospace engineering. I currently carry a 4.14 GPA and have had a 4.0 GPA my entire school career. In January 2013, I went to the state legislation to support Senate Bill 240, which would expand legal liability protections for spacecraft manufactures and suppliers. I enjoyed the experience and as an ambassador for my school, I learned a great deal.
When I am not playing golf, I enjoy spending time with family, friends, playing video games, basketball and flying my model airplane. My ultimate dream though, would be to one day play on the PGA tour.
