Personal Statement

Growing up under a family of Golf. At first I never thought I would fall in love with Golf. I played Baseball, Basketball, and Soccer at a young age and when Covid began, I fell in love with the game of Golf. I am dedicated to the game and dream to play at the next level. God has a plan and I believe he will guide me to this journey I dream to live. The more I work at the game, the bigger chance I have to take Golf to the next level under any program that I may best fit in.

Finished the last fall high school tournament very strongly with a -4 68. Finished the fall season with a scoring average of 70.5 as a top ranked player in New Mexico. Game feels good heading into the off season to take a break and continue to work and develop my game to the highest level.

First High School Tournament to my Senior year. Great start to the year with a -5 67 at the course where the State Tournament hosts in the spring. Played in windy and rainy conditions at 6850 yards. Won by 6 shots.

Great Albuquerque Men's City Golf Tournament
8/18/23 to 8/20/23
Finished T10 in my last tournament of the summer. Three day total of 218 +1. Fired a disappointing first round 77 at Ladera Golf Course, played 7150 and conditions were windy. Battled back the second day with a -4 68 at Arroyo Del Oso to make the cut and surpass many good golfers. Following a mediocre final round 73 at Los Altos in windy conditions to cap off summer golf. Game feels good heading into the fall.

Shot 71, 76, 69 to shoot a 3 day total of 216 Even par. First day was decent with a few good birdies, Second day was rough and made a few mistakes and threw away a lot of strokes and the final round was a good come back to finish 7th place and shoot my first sub 70 in a tournament.

Course was playing super hard. Some long holes and tough pin placements. Couldn’t make enough birdies. Shot 74 and lost by 2 strokes to advance to the final.

Overall a decent tournament. Made a few mistakes the first day but made up for it the 2nd day. Course was tough. 83 First Round 74 Second Round. Finished 14th out of 58.

Placed 2nd as a team with a two day score of 606 Individually tied for 6th out of 48 with a two day score of 146 (74 and 72). Made First team All State.
