My name is Brendan Kelly, I am a 17 year old junior attending Panther Creek High School in Cary, NC. In college, I hope to accomplish many things in golf and academics. I have very high standards for my golf game and know that I can keep improving as I have been. One of my aspirations is to be able to be able to perform well in golf at the college level and contribute to a teams success.
My focus to succeed academically aligns well with my goals to excel at golf whether in season or the off-season. What makes me a good candidate for a college team is my dedication, confidence and ability to be a team player. I believe I'm different from other recruits due to my approach to the game, my commitment and desire to focus on continual improvement. Overall, I love the game of golf, and to be able to play the game of golf at the college level, on a team of high level players would be an awesome experience that I cannot wait to become a part of.

- Had two interesting days, shot 79 the first day with a 11-over 47 on the front and a 4-under 32 on the back. The second day I shot 79 with a 43 on the front and 36 on the back, rough starts to both days but was able to get back on track later in each round. Green speeds were exceptionally slow, so tough for reading speeds. Finished 26 out of 47 in the high school division.

- Team did not play well as a whole, I played poorly for a 3-hole stretch that caused me to not qualify. The greens were also just newly aerated so they were bouncing and kicking all over. Shot 80.
