Hello! My name is Brandon Dye and I am a Junior in high school who has completed three years of varsity high school golf. I have enjoyed every day of my golf career and I strive to continue on in college. Along with my career in golf, I have always succeeded in academics, maintaining a 4.0 gpa throughout high school. In college, I plan to go into mechanical engineering and work for an aeronautics company in the future. In school, I’m good working independently and also with a group, which carries on into my golf game. I’m willing to help others who might need it and work to make them the best that they can be, while also working to make myself the best I can be. I have improved greatly in my golf game throughout the years, going from 100s to mid 70s - low 80s, and I will work harder to improve even more over the years. I have an opportunity not many others have: living on a golf course. If I need to practice something specific, I can go over there and work on it until I get it down, or I can even go over there and play for fun and learn new things. I am also a great problem solver which means if I have a flaw in my golf game, I can work on it and figure out what to do to fix it. I have many plans for the future and I hope to continue to pursue these dreams in college.
