Blake Hopkins '24 Recruiting Profile

I have played golf for my entire life, and am very dedicated to the sport. As a thirteen year old, I won a junior golf tournament at the Golf Club I am a member at. At that same age, I also got a hole-in-one, possibly the youngest player to ever achieve a hole-in-one at that golf course. Now, I am seventeen, and have recently become player of the year for the LEC conference for the third year in a row, and also led my team to win the conference championship for the second year in a row. I have narrowly missed going to districts the last three years, and have been hard at work to improve my game over the winter. Since this was written, I have placed 3rd at Sectionals, 4th at Districts, and 32nd at the Division III State Tournament! I have an excellent work ethic, and have maintained my golf game while also playing both varsity bowling and jv baseball, as well as maintaining a GPA of 4.33 and have gotten high honor roll every year since first grade. I also play on the NOPGA Tour in the summer time, and had 4 top 15s, with 4 rounds in the 70s.
