Owen Heslop '26 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing golf for almost 4 years, starting in Seventh Grade.    I have accomplished a lot since I've been playing and would like the oppurtunity  to play at the collegiate level after I graduate.    I just finished my sophomore year at Marietta High School.   I focus on always learning more and improving. 

Freshman year 2022

varsity letterman for Marietta High School Boys Golf Team

Sectional Champions  I contributed by shooting a 79  at Eaglesticks Golf Course, Zanesville, Ohio

I recieved First Team All-District Honors 

(Southeastern Ohio Div 1)

I was named Champion of the Mid-Ohio Valley  Spring Golf Tour powered by Under Armour  of the boys 15-18 year div.   I qualified for the National tournament  which i placed 7th and was reciever Under Armor All-American honors 

 June 2023 I played in the North vs West Mid West Elite College Showcase at Winding Ridge Golf Club in Indianapolis, IN.   Placed third overall 

Sophomore year:

1st team all conference Twin States League

2023 Southeastern Ohio district Div 1 Player of the Year 

I also played basketball my freshman and sophomore  year.   In my free time I work in the clubhouse at my Grandfather's Golf   Course

2024:   The Junior Tour Under armour Mid-Ohio Valley League champion 

Summer Nationals Under armour, Palm Beach,FL.

  Third place finish, second year with Under Armour All -American honors 

I qualified for the Championship round at Dayton Country Club in Dayton, OH on the JR PGA of Southeast Ohio Summer Tour.   I shot a 71 on day 1 and a 75 on day 2 for Third Place
