Bradley Maller '21 Recruiting Profile

Being a golfer since I was 6 has been extremely beneficial to my life, as well as, the growth and love I possess for the sport of golf. I lettered on my school team as a freshman and most recently I set a record my Junior year. However, I feel as though I have grown the most as a student and athlete throughout my life experiences. 

I was introduced to golf at age 6 by my grandpa through a program called Morty’s Kids (now known as First Tee of Central Ohio). I was also heavily involved with baseball (pitcher and catcher) and soccer (goalie) during this time. For many years I played in golf, baseball, and basketball and succeeded in all. However, through my supportive family, my intense love for golf, and three extremely important men/coach’s in my life, I realized I wanted to focus and immerse myself in golf. I am now more focused than ever to become a solid player who is capable of playing at the college level. Being raised by a single mother as the oldest of 3 I have learned how to step up to the plate and be a good role model for my younger brothers. Through The First Tee I have learned the nine core values that not only apply on the golf course, but  apply in furthering my education, as well as life in general. I am looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically and academically. I am not afraid of hard work, and I know I have to work hard for my grades, but I do possess the passion, character, work-ethic, and leadership I need to play at the collegiate level and study business in college
