Logan Cook '21 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Logan Cook. I will be a 2021 graduate of Watkins Memorial high school in Pataskala, Ohio. I will be a 4 year Varsity golfer at Watkins, and was number one my sophomore year. I placed 3^rd overall in Licking County (LCL) division my sophomore season, and 2nd my junior year.  In addition to high school I compete in a summer Licking county league and will participate in the southern Ohio Jr PGA tour.  I shot my season low round of 68, and finished medalist twice my sophomore season. I set myself apart from other golfers, in addition to golf I race a jr dragster competitively. I am a 6 time track champion at National Trail Raceway, won a division 3 championship, finished 4^th in the Eastern conference finals 2 years in a row. I also race competitively in a jr quick 330 class for JEGs performance racing. I am a solid student with a current 3.3 GPA including several honors classes. I am a very coachable player, and take direction and feedback well. I apply my swing coaches input into my overall game. I continue to set goals for myself both in golf and in my academics so I always have something to strive for. I am the oldest of several siblings. I am very involved with my family which includes being the assistant coach of my 7^th grade brothers basketball team during the winter. I hope to find a college that will allow me to continue to play competitive golf and also meets my academic goals.
