Jamison Boykins’ ...Personal Statement
On my 2nd birthday, my mom bought me a plastic miniature golf set to play with. Right a way, I fell in love with the set and with golf. When I watched golf as a kid, I tried to imitate everything Tiger Woods did. As the years went on, I was always motivated to be the best golfer I could be, but watching the Memorial Tournament, in person, inspired me to take my golf game to the next level. During my high school golf career, I learned the value of commitment, sacrifice, and leadership. I am looking for a college that will be a good fit for me academically and athletically. I believe I not only have the talent to play at the collegiate level, but also the character and work-ethic to make a impact to become a leader at your program.
