I have been a multi-sport athlete most of my life. I have played varsity golf all four years of high school, baseball the past three and hopefully a fourth, and two years of basketball. I play catcher on a travel baseball team as well. I have served in a leadership role on my teams and in my school. I am a student ambassador and served on student leadership committees. I work well with people, whether they are on a team or in other situations.
I wish to attend a small college because I like smaller schools, smaller communities. I really want to continue my golf career. I am the only golfer in school history to make the district four years in a row. I was the Conference MVP my junior year of high school. I made first team this year, and I made second-team all conference my freshman and sophomore years. I won player of the week honors the week of September 25th for medaling first place in four consecutive tournaments.
I'm a good candidate for a collegiate team because I am coachable. I believe in working hard and getting better. I know that there is always an opportunity to improve. I also know that struggles make me stronger, and I'm not afraid to deal with them.
