It has always been my dream to go to college to play sports. Whether it be basketball, track, cross country, or golf. I started playing golf 2 years ago and shot in the high 60s for 9 holes. I’m a 4 sport athlete so it’s hard to really dedicate myself to practicing for one sport. Golf, however, I could practice forever. Ever since that year i’ve improved a little over 20 strokes and now shoot consistently in the middle to low 30s for high school golf matches without much if any out of season practice. Ive never had a real coach or lesson before other than from my dad when I was just learning the game. I’m self taught, always critiquing my swing and just want the chance to be great. I’ve always been a team first athlete as i’ve developed most of my lifelong friendships through teams. I have a 4.65 GPA and take the student part over the athlete. All I am looking for is a chance to fully dedicate myself to a sport after high school because I believe if I got that chance my work ethic, self competitiveness, dedication to anything I do, and want to be great would go a long way. Thank you
