I have taken my handicap from a 30 to an 8 in a year through hard work and perseverance. I play as many courses as I can to gain a diversity of experience. This includes private and public courses. I've tried to meet and get to know as many professionals in golf as possible. One of the ways I have done this is to volunteer through the Wonder Program at Lake Hefner Golf course. I play with as many different people as I can and try to learn from everyone. My goal is to play golf at the college level and ultimately become a professional golfer.
I am homeschooled. I chose to leave the private school I had attended since Kindergarten to free up more time for playing golf, training, and tournaments. I will be participating with my homeschool team, OKC Storm, this season .
I am required by my parents to pay a certain portion of my fees and costs out of my own pocket. I believe that if I work hard and stay the course, I will achieve my dreams.
