Hello, my name is Gannon Blankenship. I attend Chandler High school and my graduation year is 2022. I love the game of golf and I strive to be the best I can be. My future goal is to play collegiate golf. I work my absolute hardest at anything I do. I didn't get into the game of golf until my 8th grade year. Once I found the game of golf, I have worked as hard as I can at it. I have played varsity golf my first three years of Highschool, and will be playing my senior year as well. I worked my butt off and finally started to see the results of my hard work this past year. My first tournament of my junior year I shot a 102, and that made me want to work even harder to get to to the scores I know I am capable of. To end my junior year, I shot an 82 to qualify for Class 3A regionals, then followed that up with an 81,85 to qualify for 3A state as an individual. I then shot an 85,81,90 at 3A state. What makes me a good candidate for your team? I am going to keep working day in and day out to keep improving. I know I am capable to be even better than I am now. I know how to work hard as I have also managed to maintain a 4.0 GPA through my first three years of Highschool.
