Personal Statement
My name is Connor Alfieri. I am currently a Senior at Smethport Area High School in Smethport, Pennsylvania. Golf is my passion. I have an overall GPA of 3.7. I am a 2x Scholar Athlete. My discipline and desire to do well in the classroom carry over to my golf game, and I am looking forward to the challenge of collegiate golf.
I am a 2x Penn York Junior Golf Champion, 2018 Pennsylvania District 2A Champion, 4x North Penns Woods League MVP, and the 2019 First Flight Champion of the SWNY/NWPA Men's Amateur. This summer I placed 2nd in the National AJGA Qualifier held in Ashland, KY, and medaled in 3 out of 4 WNYPGA Jr tournaments. I most recently qualified for the PIAA State Championships.
Not only am I the #1 golfer at my school, I am also a starter on my varsity basketball team and a past starter on my varsity soccer team. I was class President for 2 years and am currently involved in the Outdoor Club and DECA Club as well. Most recently I was elected as Senior Class VP.
I am self driven, I work hard, and I am committed to the sport of golf. I am someone you want on your team.
