I have been on the Wren High School Varsity golf team since my 7th grade year. The pandemic cancelled my 8th grade year, but I was still able to play in some local state tournaments held by SCJGA and GSA. In the past 12 months (my Freshman year), I've made significant improvements to my game and have gone from 125 to 36 in the SCJGA South Carolina state rankings, in the last 4 months alone reduced my handicap to 0.0, shooting consistently in the mid-low 70's. My best round to date has been 68. Because of this, I am thinking more seriously about playing competitive golf in college. Academics are very important to me and I don't intend to compromise my education in pursuit of a golf scholarship. My soul purpose is to play D1 golf at a competitive level and then go Pro. My drive on and off the golf course will make this happen.
