Personal Statement

I started playing golf as a freshman in high school, and ever since then, I fell in love with the game and everything about it. I think the biggest thing that has happened over my high school career, is losing the state championship my sophomore year by two strokes. It hurt a lot at the beginning, but that loss motivated us to keep getting better every year, keep moving forward, and to keep on grinding. I would be a great candidate for your team because I have a really good work ethic, leadership skills, respect, and big heart for the game of golf. Before 2018 leaves me, a big goal for me is to get my gpa up and have some academic success in the classroom.

  • 10/01/18 to 10/02/18
  • My team and I played our hearts out for the last tournament of the year, it wasn’t the finish we were hoping for, but all in all, it was a great experience. I placed 22nd out 140 field with a score of 77/83, and our team placed 4th.
  • Camp/Event
  • West river challenge
  • 9/24/18 to 9/24/18

  • Camp/Event
  • Conference
  • 9/17/18 to 9/17/18
  • Today was conference, and as a team we won it with a 311. I ended up going in a playoff hole for first place, shooting a 77 along with my teammate. I ended up losing the play off getting solo second, getting a bogey on the first hole. It was a fun experience and I’m glad me and my teammate got the chance to compete
