Justin Cowden '20 Recruiting Profile

Hi coach,

     My name is Justin Cowden and I am an up and coming golfer who is looking to play in college. I think I would be a good fit to your program because I am hardworking on and off the course. I also have a natural ability to be a leader to my teammates. I was blessed with this trait while taking Mixed Martial Arts when I was young. I am a good student and I would love to play for your program. I believe it would be a comfortable environment for me and a home away from home. 

     I started playing golf in the sixth grade after getting cut from the middle school baseball team. I never had any desire to play golf in college at first, but I stuck it out the first year and developed an extreme passion to get better. By switching to golf, I have learned honesty, integrity, respect, and perseverance. It has allowed me to overcome tough times. I just hold my head high and keep on going. I think these qualities will make a great addition to your program.
