Hi, my name is Logan Miller. I will be entering my freshman year of high school in the 2020-21 school year. I was introduced to golf at a young age and have loved it ever since. I cannot play any physical contact sport due to disabilities so I feel blessed to be able to play golf. I was born with Spina Bifida myelomeningocele, hydrocephalus, and clubbed feet. After several surgeries related to my disabilities, my ultimate goal in life has yet to waver, and that is to become a pro golfer.
I have been a "Miracle Child Ambassador" with the Children's Miracle Network at Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt for several years. The Hospital has saved my life more than once and I am very proud to be an ambassador and give back. My mom and I go to golf tournaments and other events to tell my story and the great things the Hospital does for children like me. I was born with an "open hole" in my back and was rushed to the Hospital for immediate surgery. My parents were told I would never walk, never crawl, never have any feeling below my waist, be paralyzed in a wheelchair all of my life. I had casts on both of my legs several times growing up, wore braces, used a reverse kay walker for a long time, too. I know my story touches people's lives - I'm proud of the person I've become. Golf helps tell my story.
Thank you for taking the time to read about me!
