2023 SpotlightPersonal Statement
I started playing golf at a relatively late time. All my peers had already been playing for multiple years and I was incredibly behind. A year later, I made the high school team. I already had the academics, I needed to get better. So I worked, in the dark and day, sun shine and clouds. I worked harder. When I want something, I work for it. Now I’m consistently competing and beating my peers who have been playing for far longer. They provided me with motivation to keep working, and the job isn’t finished. In the same tournament season, I went from averaging a 52 through 9 holes, to a 91 through 18. Success can only be brought to those who work for it
