Devin Ray '18 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to compete in the college level of golf and work my way up after that. I picked up golf my freshman year of high school and have been playing ever since (almost 3 years of consistent golf). I mostly practice 6 days a week. Everything from my swing, putting, and chipping, is all self taught. I focus on the feeling, if it feels good and works then I stick with it. As the team captain of our golf team I also look to point my teammates in the right direction and pick their heads up when they aren't playing well. 

Academics is just as important to me as practicing. I push my self to take Advanced Placement classes, and get involved in extracurricular activities when I have free time.  I look to spread positive attitudes between my teammates and the people I am around.
