McCarson Youngblood '20 Recruiting Profile

In everything I have ever done in my life, I have set out with the mindset to be the best and not quit until I feel I have accomplished this goal.  The same goes for golf. Ever since I picked up a club I have made it my personal mission to play past high school. I haven't always played golf.  Along the way I have played many sports including baseball, basketball and ran cross country.  Through playing these sports it has allowed me to realize that my true passion is golf.  I believe that playing sports when I was younger has helped me to develop into the person I am today.  I pride myself on being able to understand peoples strengths and weaknesses and use those to become a better leader.  I think being a leader helps make me a good candidate for a collegiate golf team.  Along with golf, academics are of key importance to me.  I have always put my classroom studies above anything extracurricular. I hope to be able to combine my golf ability and academic skills at the collegiate level.
