Coaches - first, thank you for taking a moment to review my profile. I look forward to the opportunity to visit with you about a college career with your Men's golf team.
I have been playing golf since I was old enough to swing a stick, including those funny plastic clubs toddlers play with. For the past 3 years I have been playing competitively with the Four Seasons – TPC Junior Golf Club in Irving, Texas, the Texas Junior Golf Tour, the American Junior Golf Association as well as my high school’s Men’s Varsity Golf team. I am currently ranked 4th in Texas with TJGT where I have won or ranked in the top 5 in numerous tournaments. I also took the champion’s spot in my high school district my sophomore year in May, 2014. As a junior, I have been named Captain of our Varsity team, even with 3 seniors currently playing.
As a student, I hold a 4.55 GPA out of a 5.0 weighted GPA. I am set to take the SAT on December 6, 2014. I take my studies as seriously as my golf game. I would like to declare as a Business major in college with a possible emphasis on Sports Marketing. I understand how important a college education is to my future; and know that my studies will work hand-in-hand to make me the kind of athlete that would be a great representative for a college Men's golf team.
I hope that you will spend a few moments to review my resume and letters of recommendation. (links below)
Thank you for your time and interest.
