My main goal after graduating from high school is to pursue a business degree and play college golf. My academic performance is just as important as my golf scores. I believe a healthy athletic performance is critical for my grades and golf scores. I've learned from inspiring golf pros like Rory Mcllroy and Travis Vick that to be a great golfer, you must be a strong athlete. Strength and conditioning, along with a positive attitude, are very important to being successful on the golf course.
As the captain and leader of my high school golf team, I set the tone for working hard during practice. My teammates look up to me because of my attitude during school, practice, and tournaments. During team conflicts, I am able to deter any negativity. I find ways to neutralize any anger and build healthy relationships between team members.
I stay involved in my community by attending my church's student ministry. I also volunteer with my family in church charity activities, including food drives and school drives, where I help sort out school supplies and/or carry boxes of donations at my church for the local schools or charity organizations. Being involved in the community is very important because part of our purpose in this world is to help others in need who are going through hardships.
Collegiate golf will allow me to continue learning and competing with higher-level golfers. Seeking educational assistance and high-quality athletic facilities will aid in my personal development.
