April 2018 Personal Statement
When I was 11, my dad took my to a driving range and I have been playing golf every since that time. That is when I fell in love with the game. I am a 6’0 varsity golfer at Liberty Hill High School in Liberty Hill, TX, and looking forward to playing golf at the collegiate level. Currently, I am in the 11th grade and plan on playing golf the rest of my life.
Psychology is my desired college major. The mental challenge of golf is an important aspect of the game. I believe studying psychology will help me understand this challenge. I strive to be the best and improve daily in life, academics and golf. The game of golf has had a great impact on my life, teaching me respect, integrity and perseverance.
I'm eager to join a team with an atmosphere that inspires growth not only in golf, but academically.
