I come from a family of golfers who have won tournaments collegiately and professionally; hearing stories of my grandma's Uncle Tony who won the U.S. Open and played in the Ryder Cup has been inspiring.

I have grown so much in my love for golf and appreciate the discipline it takes mentally and physically to compete. I'm a Multi-Sport Athlete: Varsity Basketball as a Freshman + Soph, Defensive Player of Year Honors. Varsity Track in the 200m, 400m and 4x100 relay. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu & Wrestling Background. Knowing how to train hard and compete in other sports has built mental toughness which has helped me significantly in golf.

From the age of 9 years old until present, I have been blessed to learn the game in a unique way from my golf coach and mentor, Franci Betancourt, who also taught PGA Tour player, Jhonattan Vegas and well-known golf instructor, Kevin Kirk (coach of Patrick Reed). Hearing many stories from Coach Franci, Jhonattan, and others in The Woodlands TX area from my earlier days to the present, has given me the confidence to take my game to the next level.

Additionally, I have learned to deeply respect the game of golf and what it takes to be successful at various levels -- my parents were college golfers, and my great-great uncle, Tony Manero, won the 1936 US Open and 8 times on the PGA Tour. With this foundational appreciation for the game of golf, I am seeking a college environment to thrive and develop into the best man of faith I can possibly be and see how far I can potentially go with golf wherever the Lord directs my path.
