Jack Sladek '20 Recruiting Profile

Four years ago, I decided to chase greatness. All thru elementary school and middle school I played a variety of sports and always gave it my best effort. When I graduated from the eighth grade, I decided that I wanted to become the best I could be at something and that something was golf. My golf career began in the Fort Worth City Championship and I loved the competition, challenge and comradery that I experienced. The first year I shot well over 100 and finished last, but from that moment on I was hooked. I realized to chase my dream my entire outlook and work ethic had to be changed. My family sacrificed so that I could have the highest level of coaching, training and competition that we could afford. Currently, I have played in sixty-five junior golf tournaments and have steadily improved year over year and tournament over tournament. My goal is to be a leader on my future golf team and help others become the best they can be all while winning championships. I look forward to taking my work ethic, dedication, passion and reliability to the next level.
