When you first meet me, I may not be the best golfer you’ve ever met, or anywhere close to that level. I may not have the physical physique of a typical golfer. But one thing is for certain, every time I step on the golf course, I promise you I will give you my all, not just for myself, but for the team and its success. I can promise you, I will be a voice inside that locker room and be a leader, especially in pressure situations, and constantly give input to the coaches and team. I am merely looking for just a chance to show you what I can do. With the help from the coaches at the collegiate level, I believe by the time I walk out of those doors, I could be the best golfer you have ever met. I appreciate the time you have taken to read my writings, and I hope to meet you soon.

- Tim Hofstetter has been a professional golf teacher for over twenty years, receiving professional teaching certification in 2001. He also earned Golf Psychology Certification in 2016 from the International Golf Psychology Association. Prior to his professional golf teaching career, he had 37 years as Senior Program Manager of U.S. Navy Morale, Welfare, and Recreation Programs. This responsibility included oversight of U. S. Navy golf courses. Golf is no stranger to Tim; he played the game since he was 10 years old. He played high school golf and collegiately on scholarship. He received his BS (69) and MS (76) degrees in Education from Florida State University. Following college for two years he was a high school teacher and sports coach (football, baseball and golf). Since 2010 Tim has been recognized as a Top 100 Golf Teacher by the World Golf Teachers Federation. The WGTF has over 23,000 members and he is one of 35 Americans to make the list. He presently teaches golf at North Shore County Club, Portland TX. There he teaches a combined monthly average of 65+ junior and adult lessons. He specializes in youth golf and has tremendous success in developing and molding youth students into talented golfers. Some have gone on to obtain golf scholarships. Notably, he developed and conducted for three years a one-of-a-kind junior youth golf program (3–5-year old’s) for Private Preschools in the Corpus Christi and Portland, Texas areas.
