I have been exposed to golf my entire life, with both my parents playing and competing in the game of golf. Since entering high school, golf and maintaining high academics have become my focus and I aspire to play golf at the collegiate level. I know playing golf in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity that could change my life.
Participating in the Texas High School State Tournament as a Freshman, with our team finishing 3rd, was an incredible experience. However participating and our team winning the State Tournament as a Sophomore was an ultimate highlight of my golfing career thus far.
I am looking for a college and golf program that will be a good fit for me and where I can push myself both in the classroom and on the golf course. I am very coach-able and strive to be one of the hardest working golfers. I maintain my composure and do not get mad easily, while learning from a bad shot and moving on to the next. In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a high GPA, currently 4.155 and I am enrolled in college courses as well as all advanced classes.
I believe I have the talent to compete for a college team as well as the character, work-ethic, and leadership skills to make an impact on your program.
