Hello, my name is Hunter Ramirez. I am a junior at James Madison High School in San Antonio Texas. I am looking to play golf at the next level. I’ve played golf since I was 6 years old. I learned to play from my uncle who was a professional golfer. I eat, breathe, and think golf.
During my high school career, I have multiple 4th place finishes and have placed 2nd twice. My sophomore year, I finished 10th in District 27-6a shooting an 83 and 79 which qualified me for regionals. Here in San Antonio, my high school golf season is from the first day of school to about 2 weeks before school ends. We play all year. Recently I played in a 36 Hole Tournament on October 1st shooting a first round 77 and a second round 89. I was disappointed in my second round but I knew what I needed to work on. I just played in a tournament on November 12th at the Republic Golf Course. I shot a 79 and I finished tied for 4th. The conditions where terrible, windy, cold, and constant drizzle.
During the summers, I play on the STPGA Jr Tour but this coming summer I will play on the STPGA Prestige Tour.
For schooling, I look to major in business management. I want to open my own golf company.
