Personal Statement

Hi, My name is Logan Gabrysch. I enjoy winning and the process of getting there! I have been blessed to be academically and athletically talented by working harder than most, having early training and discipline in achieving success on and off the field. I have performed  well in football, basketball, and golf from District to three straight years of State Golf qualifying.  Off the field of play I take my academics, community, and faith seriously; recently completing the Directorship of a teens Spiritual retreat for Surrounding Cty's, serving on NHS, taking AP Classes, doing volunteer service, freshman and Junior Class favorite, voted Homecoming King, and have been class treasure now voted for 4 years.  My  primary goal is to play college golf and achieve a high level of education with a degree.  My mother's dream before she passed of cancer in 2014 was to see me perform and play this wonderful game at a collegiate level.  I have achieved junior golf awards and recognition through youth programs and high school sporting events. I realize I have work this fall and spring to consistently shoot lower scores. I have been the leader in all my activities including Varsity starting qb for 2 years; all area honors@ pt guard in BB and #1 golfer on our team 4 years, and on 5/16/17 named golf MVP for 3rd year, and chosen this spring by Area H.S. coaches to be named the District- Pride and Leadership award for all sports and leadership roles at Area sports banquet. Many times my Coaches and Peers have commented that I make those around me better people and athletes. I have chosen to DROP football my senior year to improve my game and better my academics. I am dedicated to this sport and have a private swing pro I've used for 5 years. Please call or text him for questions.  Coach Mitchell's new cell is: 361-571-5333

I look forward to the best college available to pursue my dreams of playing collegiate golf and earn a degree to live a productive life after golf. You will find me honest and personable through my experiences in golf and in life. I take pride in believing I have the best short game in the field and will out putt my competitors on most days. It's who I am that separates me from other athletes.  I will share with you in this profile the good and the not so good results from tourneys, events, so you know what your getting in this student/athlete. If you are interested please let me know,  and if not also let me know.  We all like to plan ahead. That way I won't waste your valuable time that you can use elsewhere. God Bless, and Golf On!
