September 2018Personal Statement
My name is RJ Bonds. I love the sport of golf. I want to get better and improve my game to play at the college level. I’ve been on my high school golf team for three years and have improved each year. I’ve encouraged others on my team and enjoy being on the team. I had the honor to play on the Utah team of the Scotland Junior Golf Invitational in the summer. I’ve also worked hard in school and am consistently on the honor roll. I have a 3.9 GPA and earned an academic letter last year. My coaches would agree that I’m coachable and list to others to enhance my learning. I am fairly new to the game as this is my third year playing but I am very determined to play professionally. I love all kinds of sports and being active. “I am right where I thought I would be but I am not where I am trying to get to,” - Doc Rivers. This quote describes me perfectly.
