Personal Statement

Dear Coaches,

My name is Will Johnson, and I am in the class of 2025. Golf has always been my first love. I have practically grown up on a golf course, so I have always had unlimited access to the course. With golf, I have been ultra-competitive from a young age. I strive to beat everyone, including my dad who is a past club champion. I have also always been dedicated in the classroom since a young age, due to my mom pushing me to do well in school. Now, while I am in high school, I do work on my own and carry a 3.93 GPA on a 4-point scale. My greatest golf accomplishment to date has been winning the 2023 Virginia Private School state championship at Meadowbrook Country Club, shooting an even-par 71. In the next year and a half, I hope to be just as if not more successful than my 2023 campaign!
