Evan Sacbibit '24 Recruiting Profile

I am always looking to improve my skillset and have a passion for helping others in a team environment.  In my golf career, I have progressed from playing smaller events in the Middle Atlantic PGA Junior Tour and US Kids Tour to being comfortable playing 36-hole events on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour.  Last season, I was the only freshman on the Westfield varsity golf team and became the only freshman to qualify for the Regional championship.  This season as a sophomore, I am currently the #1 seed on the varsity golf team and have helped my teammates excel during tournaments and practice sessions with the approval of my coaches.  Over the last 12 months, my game continues to improve and I have had several notable accomplishments on the golf course; I currently hold a +1.4 HDCP (GHIN #11217847),  my lowest competitive round is a 64 during a ClubCorp Junior Interclub event at Dominion Valley Country Club, and I placed 2nd out of 40 players at a Nike Junior Golf Camp Showcase attended by coaches from Pepperdine University, University of Illinois, University of Arizona, and Oklahoma University.  I am still learning to improve as a competitive golfer on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour and Middle Atlantic PGA events.  I am hoping for future opportunities where I can contribute as a team player at the collegiate level, challenge myself to grow as a student athlete, and continue to improve my golf skillset where I showcase my playing ability.
